Blazing Bagels is hiring for Retail Managers with a passion for developing and leading strong teams to provide world-class customer service.
As a leader at one of our retail locations, you will become an invaluable part of the Blazing Bagels team, ensuring that Blazing Bagels can provide that Oh My Gosh bagel experience to all of our customers and team members.
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for delivering fantastic customer service and overseeing daily operations, as well as training and supervising team members.
Our Retail Managers are tasked with leading a successful team by modeling Blazing Bagels' high standards for providing customers with super-fast service, a memorable and unique experience, as well as awesome bagels and sandwiches.
Managers are expected to work fulltime and may be expected to work weekend shifts as needed.
Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the cafe and dining experience
Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner
Manages inventory and orders food and supplies
Conducts daily inspection of cafe and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
Periodically evaluates cafe equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service
Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts
Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the regional manager.
Continually seeks and identifies methods to increase store sales and profitability; makes recommendations and implements changes as appropriate.
Performs daily safe reconciliation, bank deposits, and change orders.
Hires and trains retail staff.
Organizes and oversees the staff schedules to manage customer expectations and labor cost
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Works with HR to handles discipline and termination of employees as necessary
Leads by example and ensures all staff is following standards
Strong leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service

Ability to maintain composure under pressure
Excellent customer service skills and ability to lead the floor confidently
Strong supervisory, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to work full time with flexibility to meet business needs.
