Portland’s only riverfront country club with an unrivaled culture of year-round golf and spirited experiences that bring active families and friends closer together. Waverley Country Club is currently seeking PT Busser / Houseman to join us immediately.

Bussers are a critical part of a smooth dining experience, providing assistance to servers by greeting tables, filling waters, clearing plates, re-setting tables and maintain a clean bussing station. Bussers are a jack of all trades and important in all aspects of the dining experience throughout the establishment here at Waverley Country Club.

The Houseman is responsible for the physical set up of all the Ala Carte dining areas, meeting rooms, On-course food and beverage, cocktail parties, private dinners and any special needs required for Club events. A Houseman is a backbone, behind the scenes job but is one of the most important jobs in the establishment. Houseman will work independently or in a team, to be detailed oriented to effectively execute the task at hand.

The starting pay rate is $15.00/hr. Waverley is a non-tipping club. In lieu of tips, we offer access to the golf course and use of kayaks or paddle boards for the river on Mondays, meals during scheduled shifts, discounts on movie tickets and uniforms, and more. . Requirements:
Must be friendly, willing to work in a team environment.
Must have a current Food Handlers Card and OLCC permit
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds regularly.
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, climb and reach regularly.
Being a houseman is physical work and this job also requires the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment.
