We provide all aspects of landscape maintenance to private residences, home owner associations and commercial locations.
We strive to create and maintain beautiful landscapes throughout Northern Virginia. We provide bulk material installation with our fleet of blower trucks.
We are searching for an individual to join our team to become a key component in running the company.
You will be required to fill various rolls throughout the company. You will be assisting with several divisions within the company on a daily basis based on the time of season.
The right candidate will have excellent business insight, strong leadership abilities and great customer relationship skills.
You will be responsible for overseeing operations and production. You will work with staff to continue to enhance the day to day operations.
You will be required to make sound operating and financial decisions. You will be involved with decision on equipment maintenance and repairs.
You will be doing project and time management, assisting with sales as necessary, ensuring materials and equipment are on hand as needed among other things.
Areas in which we focus on:
Residential & commercial maintenance
Routine maintenance, cleanup projects, plant and flower installations, leaf removals, snow removal
Blower truck applications
Green roof, playground chips and soils.
Oversite and review.
Skills and abilities
Communicate with office staff, managers and clients to facilitate a smooth transition from sales to satisfied customer
Ability to set and meet sales goals.
Manage your time responsibly between crews, clients and office staff
Understanding the requirements and product needs of individual jobs.
Able to read plans and do take offs’ from them.
Understand various equipment used in the landscape industry
Knowledge of various landscape suppliers
You will have an excellent understanding of the various services and products that can be done by Envirogrow/Mulch solutions.
Blower truck applications / bulk material applications
Inspect key clients’ properties
Ensure proper care of all company assets
Identify staffing needs
Monitor and enforce company safety policies
Guide supervisors with the training of field staff
Ensure existing client are renewed each year
Assist with sale needs
Schedule blower truck jobs to create the most effective routes for all the jobs thus maximizing revenue.
Review all types of jobs with sales team, schedule managers and supervisors to ensure correct needs for every job.
Handle client issues until they are resolved.
Conduct weekly meeting with staff.
Composition and review of invoices while doing so in a timely and accurate manner.
Experience must haves
3-5 years management experience
3-5 year horticulture experience
Extensive tree, shrub and flower knowledge
Familiarity with DMV roads and traffic patterns.
You must be able to provide references included with your resume as to your past experience in landscape maintenance. You must have a valid license with good record.
You must be willing to submit to a drug test. Working Spanish a must. Must have or be able to obtain chemical applicators license within 60 days.
