Description/Qualifications:
Your Role With Us:
You will put your knowledge of healthcare compliance and analytic skills to use to conduct investigations that involve regulatory components related to privacy breaches, fraud and abuse, improper business activities, billing irregularities, and health care compliance.


Core Functions:

Identify and analyze compliance risks, and develop comprehensive audit program to address those risks.
Analyze and evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations and compiles audit standards, plans, and schedules.
Prepare detailed reports to support completion of audit program and findings. Assist in the development of plans of correction.
Conduct investigation through the analysis of information blocking activities and privacy incidents and complaints within the established timeframes.
Apply HIPAA privacy rule and state law to make determinations regarding the resolution and reporting requirements of privacy events.
Background/Expertise:

Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Public Health, Public Policy, or related field required
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing investigations and/or audits in a healthcare environment required
Certification in Health Care Compliance (CHC) or Certification in Healthcare Privacy Certification (CHPC) or willingness to take exam within 12 months of hire.
