Primary responsibility is to load and unload shipments, split for storage or movement of freight to the sales floor. May unpack, label or process merchandise, organize displays, stock shelves or take inventory. Insures that products are easily accessible, constantly available, properly distributed and safely stored.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Commit to company-established receiving practices
Sort product onto rocket carts
Transport freight to the sales floors after sorting and ensuring that sufficient quantity has been delivered
Aid the Management team in tracking all merchandise
Handle store-to-store transfers and UPS transfers
Scan and send any daily shorts and invoices to corporate
Request backhaul and make sure all pallets are wrapped and truck is loaded
Ensure dumpster is emptied as needed
Provide safe environment by keeping work areas clean & organized
Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer
Operate forklift, pallet jack, Telxon gun and other retail equipment
May be required to cross train and perform other duties
QUALIFICATIONS

Previous receiving and/or management experience
Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient
Ability to work independently without supervision
Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit
Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
Ability to complete computer-based training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Good visual acuity and close vision for computer work
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently
Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack
Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally with all audiences (in-person or via handheld transceiver)
