Teach children aged 2-6 how to ski and enjoy the mountain environment. It is not necessary to be an excellent skier, but a love of the sport and the desire to continually improve regardless of current ability is important. Specialists will be a part of our Mountain Sports and Service but will focus on introducing our youngest guests to the sport of skiing, teaching primarily beginners from Level 1 and Level 2 (on a 1-9 scale).
Responsibilities:
Fun, outgoing, passionate, high energy, pro—active and assertive personality
Must be comfortable setting up an environment conducive to safety, fun and learning
Must have strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with parents, children, supervisors and co-workers
Must be reliable, dependable and timely
Must have a genuine desire to pass on knowledge of the sport and inspire others to enjoy it
Must be able to work outside in extreme and quickly changing mountain conditions
Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment
Must be able to maintain a great guest service attitude while working with beginner students on green terrain throughout the season
